LLM Cohort Visit the Supreme Court
On Friday, the 4th of April, students on the LLM in Criminology, Criminal Justice and Human Rights visited the Supreme Court. Mr Justice Charleton, an adjunct Professor at University of Galway, delivered an invigorating seminar on recent judgments of the Court and the process of judgment writing. The students were also given a tour of the Four Courts.
The visit to the Supreme Court formed part of a wider programme of events aimed at engaging with legal and criminal justice professionals on the LLM. A later blog post will discuss the cohort’s visit to Cloverhill Prison.
More information on the LLM in Criminology, Criminal Justice and Human Rights can be found on University of Galway School of Law's website: https://www.universityofgalway.ie/courses/taught-postgraduate-courses/criminology-criminal-justice-human-rights.html
